Where's my vote? I demand a say!

We are globalised... we ask for and receive vast amounts of information when and how we want it. I have a right to ask about the credentials of my chosen candidate...

I have been worried that my choice for the self styled, 'Leader of the free world', Barack Obama would sell out when secular push came to theological shove.

He has not/has disappointed..

At a 'Who can pray the highest' contest in the company of a powerful TV evangelist, the following took place....

"Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, Calif, asked each candidate when life and human rights begin.
McCain succinctly replied, "At conception."
Obama said, "Whether you're looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity is above my pay grade."
Oh Spooner, where art thou??? ;-)
There really is no hope...
Meanwhile. Back at Hesketh Towers, where the water level rises and the trees get greener and fuller.. I sat with a cup of Rooibosh Tea and a good friend and listened to the white noise of the rain seething through the Cyprus. We only started to feel the deluge at 7 or 8 minutes in. The ducks on the Wansbeck appeared, with the imprinted Goosander tucked into the flotilla. The river became featured by interference patterns and the older ducks looked for bread.
